Dell announces new Alienware Aurora R15 desktop in India: Price, availability and more – Times of India

Ditch technologies have launched new Alienware Aurora R15 Desktop Series in India. These PC models will be equipped with 13th generation Intel Core series processors, a 240mm AIO cooler and optional nvidia geforce RTX 4090 GPU. The company claims that these PCs will offer “high-end performance with stunning visuals”. The Alienware Aurora R15 will be based on Dell’s Legend 2.0 design which promises better performance. These PC models will ship with an updated thermal strategy, new technologies, a redesigned motherboard, and other gaming advancements.
Alienware Aurora R15: Price and availability
The new Alienware Aurora R15 will be available for purchase here Dell Exclusive Stores and Dell.com. The top model, priced at Rs 5,49,000, will have 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, 32GB RAM and RTX 4090 graphics card. Meanwhile, the Aurora R15 will also be available in another variant with lower specs. Dell hasn’t announced pricing for the base model yet.
Alienware Aurora R15: Key Specifications
The Alienware Aurora R15 desktop will feature improved thermal strategies such as hexagonal side vents for increased airflow, a larger heat exchanger (240 mm), and Cryo-Tech liquid cooling technology. Dell claims that these improvements will help the PC achieve 5% lower CPU temperatures while delivering up to 58% more power.
This PC also claims to deliver better acoustics under CPU as well as GPU-intensive tasks (66% and 32% respectively). Additionally, the Aurora R15 also features a power threshold of up to 1350W and will be powered by 13th Gen Intel Core series Raptor Lake The CPU is supported with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card.

The PC will support ray-traced 4K gaming at 60+ fps and better overclocking. It will also include Nvidia’s DLSS3 AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology for AI-based acceleration, Reflex technology for an intelligent response, Broadcast apps for enhanced gaming experience, and Ada Lovelace architecture. The Aurora R15 also features an internal structure that is designed to support more power and higher wattage.
This PC is based on the Legend 2.0 design and offers a variety of connectivity ports that ensure minimal airflow obstruction. The Aurora R15 also brings its latest version alienware command center Applications that include – auto-tune game profiles, thermal controls, advanced overclocking options and customizable AlienFX settings.
The AlienFX software on the Aurora R15 will support up to 16.8 million RGB colors and customizable lighting capabilities that will help users manage both interior ambient colors as well as traditional lighting zones.
