Dhanush’s most anticipated film, Kubera, generated a strong buzz on the internet when the title and motion poster of the film were released. Even though the makers of the film have remained silent about the film, there have been reports that the storyline of the project has been revealed online.

In the poster, he can be seen as a beggar, who later became a mafia member in Mumbai. Apart from that, the film also stars Nagarjuna, who will be playing the role of a cop who tries to catch Dhanush’s character. Although the film’s plot seems vague, a few netizens have drawn comparisons with Vijay Antony’s Pichaikkaran and have claimed that the Dhanush-starrer is made along the lines of the 2016 Tamil blockbuster. The film will also feature Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh, who will be making his Tamil debut with the film.
Recently, the makers unveiled the title and first poster of the film on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. In the poster for the film, the actor looked almost unrecognisable in the new poster that showcased him, standing in front of a painting of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The poster suggested that the film is going to centre around Dhanush’s character, who is a homeless man.
Apart from that, Dhanush will be next seen in Raayan. The film is written and directed by Dhanush himself and also features SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, and Prakash Raj in important roles. The film is expected to be released in theatres this year.
