The much-awaited film is directed by Pawan Kumar and produced by the makers of KGF and Kantara.
The makers of Fahadh Faasil’s much-awaited thriller-drama Dhooman released the trailer of the film on the internet on Thursday and it looks promising. The film is backed by Homeable Films, known for its work on blockbusters KGF and Kantara. The official Malayalam trailer revolves around Avi (played by Fahadh) and Diya (played by Aparna Balamurali) who find themselves caught in a race against time. They must overcome their personal struggles and fears in order to become unstoppable. The trailer also stars Roshan Mathew in a pivotal role. It is also making headlines on social media for a shot where a scene from KGF 2, featuring actor Yash, is being played on a laptop.
Dhooman, directed by Pawan Kumar, also stars Vineeth Radhakrishnan, Anu Mohan and Achyuth Kumar.

Director Pawan Kumar recently revealed in an interview that he wanted to make Dhooman since last one decade. “I have been trying to make this film for the past decade and have revised the script many times to make a wonderful film. My dream of a decade has now come true with Homble Productions. Joined hands to bring a different story to the screen. It has fully cooperated in delivering a good film by giving a team of many talents. I am curious how the audience will accept this film and the story.
The music for Dhooman is composed by Purnachandra Tejashwi. The film is scheduled to release in over 300 theaters on June 23. It will release in Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
The first poster of Dhooman was released in September last year, while the shooting of the film began in October.
Talking about the project at that time, producer Vijay Kiragandur had said, ‘Dhoomam is based on a new concept. And we are going to see and see Fahadh in a new and huge role. We definitely feel that the biggest of actors coming together, together can create and weave magic.
Fahadh Faasil is known for his extraordinary talent and versatility in the film industry. His ability to effortlessly portray a wide range of characters, from intense and dramatic roles to light-hearted and comic roles, has won him widespread acclaim and several awards. He has given memorable performances in films like Thondimuthalam Drikshakshiyum, Kumbalangi Nights, Pushpa and Super Deluxe.
