Dia Mirza feels she has become a ‘part time actor’; wishes more people would cast her | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Dia Mirza, who has been receiving positive reviews for her performance in ‘Made in Heaven 2‘, recently revealed that of late she feels the industry doesn’t recognise her strong dedication to being an artiste.
In an interview with Puja Talwar, Dia feels that when you are a full time activist, then you end up being a part time actor. However, she also added that nothing gives her more joy than being a part of storytelling that can affect change.She also expressed her gratitude for the opportunities that have been coming along.

Elaborating further, Dia added that the activist in her is even satisfied with the stories that she managed to be a part of. The actress said that she doesn’t know whether the industry really recognises the fact that she cares deeply about being an artist.

Dia also went on to say that she has more to give, her life experiences, the kind of extraordinary human stories that she gets to witness and appreciate and empathize and understand. All of that contributes to the actor that she is. According to her, she is always raring to go and she has so much to offer. She just wishes more people would cast her.

Most recently, Dia has been a part of some very interesting projects like ‘Thappad

‘, ‘Bheed’, ‘Made in Heaven’ and ‘Call My Agent’.
On the work front, Dia will soon be seen in ‘Dhak Dhak’ which also stars actors like Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanjana Sanghi, Ratna and Pathak Shah. The release date of the film is yet to be unveiled.
On the personal front, the gorgeous actress is married to Vaibhav Rekhi and is a mother of a son named Avyaan Azaad Rekhi.
