Dev Anand and Waheeda waved out to the enthusiastic crowd and the response was extraordinary but that moment could not be caught on camera as Chetan Anand and Tad Danielewski were arguing over the placement of the camera and therefore the spontaneous reaction of the crowd did not get captured and Dev Anand decided to shoot the two versions separately.”
The Hindi version was later directed by Vijay Anand and the famous ‘Piya To Se Naina Lage Re‘ was shot for the Hindi version of the film. The song celebrated almost all the festivals including Holi and Diwali.
