The makers recently released the teaser mentioning ‘preview’ for the film on 10th July and the actor as well as director Atlee was all praises. Recently the teaser of Jawan has been released and along with it an old photo of Atlee is also going viral.
Atlee’s old 2013 picture with Shah Rukh Khan has resurfaced on the internet, grabbing everyone’s attention. Initially dismissed as a photoshopped image by a troll, the picture has gained significance as Atlee has directed Shah Rukh Khan in one of the most awaited films of the year.
The photo, which has become a trending topic on social media, shows Atlee and Shah Rukh Khan together in 2013. In the aftermath, many congratulated Attlee, while others questioned the authenticity of the image, speculating that it may have been manipulated. Fast forward ten years, Atlee has collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan for his upcoming pan-India film, proving that the old picture was indeed original.

Atlee’s journey as a director has seen a remarkable growth, which culminated in his collaboration with one of the biggest superstars of the country. Recently, Atlee posted a collage of ten years old pictures along with glimpses of his upcoming film. He included a comment from a user who had previously dismissed the photo as “Photoshopped” and labeled it as a “10-year-old challenge”. This photo has been reshared by one of his fans.
The post received wide appreciation for revealing his vision for Jawan and Atlee’s achievements in working with Shah Rukh Khan. Atlee started his career as an assistant director under Shankar and made his directorial debut in 2013 with the film Raja Rani. He then directed three successful films – Theri, Mersal and Bigil with Thalapathy Vijay.
Atlee is going to debut in Bollywood with Jawan. The film reportedly stars Shah Rukh Khan in a double role, along with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone in a special appearance. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Jawan was shot in various locations including Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan and Aurangabad. The film was initially planned for release on 2 June, but was postponed due to pending post-production work. Now it will be screened in theaters on the occasion of Janmashtami on 7th September.
