The Congress high command has taken a decision to make Siddaramaiah the CM of Karnataka. At the same time, DK Shivkumar also does not accept anything less than the post of CM. When two rounds of meeting with Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday turned out to be inconclusive, DK called his supporters to Delhi.

DK’s supporters have been asked to come to Delhi on the first flight itself. If the supporters reach Delhi in large numbers, there is bound to be an uproar here today. DK has clearly told Mallikarjun Kharge that if you want to make him, make him CM, I will not become deputy CM.

DK not ready to accept
Earlier on Wednesday, there were reports that DK has agreed with the Deputy CM, Karnataka Pradesh Congress President and two ministries. The high command wants to make Siddaramaiah the CM and they had placed three formulas in front of DK. Now news has come that they have not agreed on anything.

The script of the Karnataka government being written in Delhi this morning kept changing hour by hour. DK told the high command – they can win 20 to 22 seats in the Lok Sabha.

DK-Siddha had a meeting with Kharge and Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday morning, but could not reach a consensus. After this, the preparations for the swearing-in in Bengaluru were stopped. Earlier, DK had said that if Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge is made the Chief Minister, then he is ready to work under his leadership.

Oath ceremony may be held on May 21
Sonia Gandhi is currently in Shimla. He is expected to return to Delhi on May 20. If the CM’s controversy does not end by Thursday, she may come earlier as well. If Congress sources are to be believed, the swearing-in ceremony may take place in Karnataka on May 21, the death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi.

Karnataka Congress incharge Randeep Surjewala came in front of the media and said that the cabinet will be formed in 48 to 72 hours. No final decision has been taken yet. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge is in conversation. Meanwhile, the news came out that now the responsibility of persuading DK Shivkumar has been handed over to Priyanka Gandhi. DK Shivakumar spoke to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. A proposal was also put before him that Siddaramaiah would be made the CM for two years, after which he would be made the CM, but even on this condition DK did not agree.

DK also does not want three deputy CMs to be made in Karnataka. They believe that decisions will not be taken due to this and factionalism will increase. On the 50:50 formula, he believes that this can create a situation like Rajasthan in Karnataka.

Was on Wednesday at 11 am. The Congress high command had decided on the formula to form the government in Karnataka. Siddaramaiah’s name was the finalist for the post of CM. DK Shivakumar was decided to be made Deputy CM, two ministries and KPCC President.

Siddaramaiah was also ready on this formula. As soon as the news came out, his supporters started celebrating. After meeting Rahul Gandhi, Siddaramaiah returned to the hotel with his supporters.

Several meetings were held from Bengaluru to Delhi for the last four days regarding the post of CM. Siddaramaiah was leading in the race. Earlier on Sunday, in the Congress Legislature Party meeting, all the MLAs had authorized Kharge to elect the leader. After this, the Congress President had asked the observers to have a one-to-one talk with all the MLAs. Of these, more than 80 MLAs voted in favor of Siddaramaiah.
