‘Does anyone want the piece I ate?’ Trump serves half-eaten pizza to fans

by India Today World DeskFormer US President Donald Trump offered a half-eaten slice of pizza to cheering supporters during a surprise stop at Downtown House of Pizza in Fort Myers, Florida.

A video posted to Twitter by a reporter showed Trump taking a bite before asking, “Does anyone want that piece I just ate?” To which the excited crowd chanted: “Trump! Trump! Trump!”

According to Fox News, Trump arrived at the pizza parlor after delivering a speech at the Lincoln Reagan Dinner of the Lee County Republican Party.

Despite being arrested accused of paying hush moneyTrump is currently the leading candidate for the 2024 Republican nomination for president. The twice-impeached Republican made more history as he became the first former president in US history to be charged by prosecutors.

Trump, who launched his third White House campaign in November, is ahead of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis 51 percent to 38 percent among likely Republican voters, The Independent cited a Wall Street Journal poll report.

DeSantis, on the other hand, has yet to formally launch his campaign.
