Don’t convert Andhra Pradesh universities into YSRCP offices, says JSP president Pawan Kalyan

Jana Sena Party (JSP) president Pawan Kalyan objected to the massive display of banners on university campuses during the visit of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and other YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders.

“This amounts to converting universities into offices of the ruling party, which sends a wrong message to students and society at large,” the JSP president said in a press release on Thursday.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan said that Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy had raised his voice against the harm caused to the environment by flexi-banners and now he is silent as university campuses are being filled with banners.

He also appealed to the Vice-Chancellors not to pressurize the students and staff to organize political programmes. He also urged them not to let their personal affection for any party come in the way of discharging their official duties.
