CHENNAI: A drunk man died of a snakebite in Avadi here while trying to play with a poisonous snake by holding its tail on Monday.
The deceased man has been identified as Yuvaraj, 33. He was found dead on a burial ground in Periyar Nagar.
Yuvraj, who had worked as a physical education teacher in a school till a year ago, and Lakshmipathy of the same locality was drinking liquor on a burial ground.Yuvraj caught hold of a snake and was playing with it. The snake bit him.
