Dulu’s 21-year-old Son Bought Land Worth ₹2cr In 4 Months: Saryu Roy | Ranchi News – Times of India

Jamshedpur: Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha (BJM) chief Saryu Roy has claimed that Prashant Kumar, the son of BJP’s Dhanbad Lok Sabha candidate and incumbent Baghmara MLA, Dulu Mahato, has purchased three plots of land worth over Rs 2 crore in Dhanbad in 2022.
Sharing land records and registration documents in addition to mutation papers of the three separate plots purchased in Dhanbad, Roy, who is also the Jamshedpur (East) MLA, said the total area of the three plots is 80 decimals.
The land records documented that on January 5, 2022, a 16-decimal plot was purchased by Prashant for Rs 46.75 lakh in Nawadih under the Dhanbad circle. The second plot, totalling 56 decimals, was bought by him on January 24, 2022. This piece of land in Nawadih was acquired for Rs 1.36 crore in the Dhanbad circle. The third plot, measuring 8 decimals, was purchased by Prashant on April 29, 2022, in Nawadih in the Dhanbad circle. When Prashant bought the three plots, paying a total of Rs 2.06 crore, he was a 21-year-old youth. Roy said the matter deserves an appropriate response from the top leadership of BJP, including its state in-charge, Laxmikant Bajpai.
“Instead of making comment on land purchase done by the boy, I would rather wait for a clarification on the matter from BJP bosses,” Roy said.
