Twitter is ‘concerned’ over Elon Musk’s bedside table. (Credits: Reuters; Twitter/@elonmusk)
Elon Musk’s bedside table contained two prop guns, empty Diet Coke cans, and a Buddhist ritual object.
Elon Musk tweeted a picture of his bedside table to his Twitter followers. The content is unusual until you too fall asleep with a prop gun and an empty Diet Coke can on your bedside table. On the table were four cans of caffeine-free Diet Coke, what appeared to be two replica guns and a painting of George Washington crossing the Delaware River, Business The insider reported. There also appears to be a Buddhist ritual object called the Vajra Dorje, reports the New York Post.
Musk is a longtime fan of Diet Coke and has previously voiced his opinion in favor of gun ownership. Although the appearance of the replica guns upset many Twitter users over gun safety concerns, it was the lack of coasters for which the billionaire apologized after several users pointed out its lack. “No excuses for my lack of shorelines,” he tweeted.
Many even joked that the photo was not actually a symbol of emotional well-being.
With the colonial picture in the background, the historian in me just has to take up the fact that in 1786 a law was enacted in cities like Boston that required all firearms to be unloaded in the home. All jokes aside, replica gun or not—gun safety is not sports. Are elder. https://t.co/T1xvCw5AoA
