Elon Musk unveiled the new logo of micro-blogging site Twitter. The new logo “X” will replace the iconic blue bird symbol. This is the latest major change by the Tesla CEO since buying the social media platform last year for $44 billion. Musk pinned a video on his profile that will be Twitter’s new logo. In another tweet, he posted the same logo as text.

Linda Yacarino tells ex a second chance
Twitter CEO Linda Yacarino also confirmed that the micro-blogging platform will be called “X”. In a series of tweets, Yacarino said the AI-powered platform focuses on audio, video, messaging, payments, and baking.
Chief tweeted, “It’s an exceptionally rare thing – in life or in business – that you get a second chance to make an even bigger impression.” “Twitter made a huge impact and changed the way we communicate. Now, X will move forward, transforming Global Town Square,’ he said.
In another tweet, Yacarino said that we have seen X take shape over the past eight months. X will be a platform that can provide everything, he said. “We’ve started to see X take shape through our rapid feature launches over the past 8 months, but we’re just getting started,” he added.
Musk said that ‘X.com’ now redirects users to the micro-blogging platform.
Earlier on Sunday, Musk hinted at rebranding the popular micro-blogging site. “And soon we will say goodbye to the Twitter brand and slowly to all birds,” Musk wrote in a tweet Sunday morning.
Twitter’s blue bird logo has been one of its most recognizable assets, and the company has been protective of it. However, in April the logo was temporarily replaced by Dogecoin’s Shiba Inu dog, which inadvertently boosted the meme coin’s market cap to $4 billion.
Ever since Elon Musk acquired Twitter last year and reduced its workforce, the platform has faced several technical glitches. With declining advertising revenue, Twitter is exploring alternative business models to revive its fortunes. The introduction of a Twitter Blue premium subscription priced at $8 per month has not gained any significant traction. To encourage usage, the company has begun sharing advertising revenue with some Twitter Blue customers based on their tweets, particularly interactions with Musk.
