These days Kangana is busy promoting her upcoming production ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’. moderated by sai Kabir Produced by Srivastava, the film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in lead roles, and will stream on a leading OTT platform from June 23.
Recently, the makers of the film unveiled the official trailer which received a good response from the audience.
The trailer showcased the ups and downs in the lives of an unconventional couple – a junior artiste and an aspiring actor, who embark on their mad hat journey together to achieve their ambitions in the city of dreams, Mumbai.
Sharing the reason behind saying yes to the film, Nawazuddin had earlier said, “Tiku Weds Sheru is a comedy-drama that weaves elements of real-life struggles that people go through with a unique love story. Tiku and Sheru is a very different personality with very different visions. A common dream. What excites me about Sheru is that in addressing the challenges faced by individuals seeking to achieve success in the entertainment industry, she is relatable, brings its own set of quirks, and stands out as a loveable character.
Meanwhile, ‘Emergency’ marks Kangana’s first solo-directorial venture. Anupam Kher is also in the film. Mahima Chaudhary, Vishak Nair And shreyas Talpade in the lead roles.
The actor will be next seen in ‘Chandramukhi 2’. Helmed by P Vasu, the film is a sequel to the blockbuster hit Tamil horror comedy ‘Chandramukhi’, which starred Rajinikanth and Jyothika in lead roles.
