Dino James has lifted the Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 trophy. The rapper and singer, who performed the most consistently on the stunt-based reality show and showed his daredevil side, emerged as the winner of the latest edition of KKK. Dino joined ETimes TV for an exclusive conversation and spoke about his journey in the show, working with Rohit Shetty and more. He also shared how he thought he would get eliminated early and the most difficult stuntshe faced.Dino firmly denied being a part of the upcoming reality show Bigg Boss 17 and stated if not him he would have loved to see his friendsShiv Thakare or Arjit Taneja winning the Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 trophy.
I felt I would get eliminated early
I had never imagined that I would win Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. I always felt I would be in Cape Town for three or four days and then get eliminated, especially after doing the first stunt. But I’m happy I was able to pull off all the stunts.
Was most scared of the shock stunts
I was the most scared of the shock stunts. There’s no alternative to shock stunts and it doesn’t have any remedy, trick or solution. My body was not able to take the shock stunts and I was the most scared of the shock stunts. The show is such that you can never go prepared for it. The stunts on the show are designed in such a way that you would never be able to perform them with ease or win every time.
Would have loved to see Shiv Thakare or Arjit Taneja winning the show
If not me I would have loved to see Shiv Thakare, Arjit Taneja lifting the trophy. Others also did well like Nyyrra, Aishwarya or Archana; they all performed great on the show. But as I am close to Shiv Thakare and Arjit I would have felt really nice.
On experience of doing KKK 13
The experience of being on the show was really great. I had great fun on the show. I did a lot of time passes, it was like a full holiday. You can say I’ve just come from a holiday of two months and I am ready to go again.
There were no groupism
There were no groups or groupism on the show. There were few dialogues on the show which made the audiences feel like that but the scenario was not that intense. We were staying there together and we never felt like that but the audience maybe felt like that. We all were friends. Archana would make tea, koi Kisi ko champi de raha tha… everyone got along well. We had a lot of fun.
Working with Rohit Shetty
My experience of working with Rohit Shetty was amazing. He has a great personality, very humble. I would say he has a Guru and an elder brother-like personality. Whatever he has in life he deserves it totally. He is a great human being.
Most difficult stunt
I was definitely scared of a few things but there was never a moment when I felt I would not be able to not do it. There was one stunt which I lost against Soundous, the water dip stunt, I got to perform that stunt in a team. I had told myself I won’t lose it at any cost. I really gave my everything to that stunt and took it very personally.
Not open to Bigg Boss
No, I’m not open to doing Bigg Boss. It is not my cup of it, why would I do it? Mere personality waala show nahi hai Woh… the makers had approached me for it but I told them that I’m not made for it and I would not like to do it.
