Explosives Seized In Daltonganj | Ranchi News – Times of India

Daltonganj: Police on Tuesday seized 18 non-electric detonators, an electric detonator and around five kg of wire during a demining drive conducted on a kuchha road as part of the road sanitisation campaign ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
The detonators belonged to a stone mining quarry, whose supervisor Dhirender Kumar Singh, was arrested.
SDPO Sadar Mani Bhushan Prasad said, “The explosive tools belong to a mining company at Murma under the Satbarwa police station limits.The mining company is said to be owned by Gulshan Kumar Singh, a resident of Daltonganj, who is missing.”
A power blast and 200 dynamo condenser type exploder were also confiscated.
