MALKANGIRI: Security forces in Odisha‘s Malkangiri district seized a large quantity of explosives on Wednesday. The authorities discovered 12 land mines and 190 gelatin sticks hidden in a forest near Dayaltung village. This area is close to the state’s border with Chhattisgarh.
A senior police officer mentioned that these explosives are believed to be linked to Maoists, who intended to use them against civilians and security personnel.Search operations in the region have been ramped up to ensure safety and security.
