Ezra Miller pleads guilty in Vermont burglary case to avoid jail time – Times of India

Hollywood Star Ezra Miller, who will next be seen in DC’s ‘The Flash’ movie, recently pleaded guilty to unlawful trespassing in a Vermont burglary case.
To avoid jail time, he accepted a plea deal during a court appearance in Bennington, Vt., according to Variety, an American media company.

Miller, who is gender neutral and adheres to they/them pronouns, must pay a US$500 fine and face one year’s probation. As part of the deal, the actor agreed to 41 conditions, including a commitment not to drink alcohol, random drug tests and continued mental health treatment.

Miller was charged with felony assault on August 8 in Vermont, where the actor lives, after allegedly lifting bottles of liquor from a vacant local home in May.

He was initially charged with trespassing, burglary and petty theft, with the latter two charges now being dropped.

The Vermont incident is one of many controversies and legal issues Miller has faced over the past year. The actor was arrested twice in Hawaii, first for disorderly conduct and harassment and then for second-degree assault.
