Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got engaged on 13 May after days of speculation about their relationship. Their dream ceremony was a grand affair at Kapurthala House located in Connaught Place, Delhi. It is believed that this couple can tie the knot by the end of this year. After their engagement, the couple delighted their fans with beautiful pictures on their social media platforms. Nevertheless, they released another set of photos showing their families, friends and loads of emotion.
On Monday, Pari shared pictures and wrote an emotional note. Calling Raghav a ‘wonderful man’, she wrote, “When you know, you know. Breakfast together and I knew it – I had met him. The most wonderful man whose quiet strength would be calm, peaceful and inspiring. Support him , humor, wit and friendship is pure joy. That’s my home.” The photos include several pictures with the groom’s family including a cousin Priyanka Chopra Applying Tilak on Raghav’s forehead. Another shows Parineeti and Raghav with their brothers Shivang and Sahaj. Furthermore, it also has an emotional Parineeti in Raghav’s arms.
She further added, “Our engagement party was a dream lived – a dream flying beautifully amidst love, laughter, emotions and lots of dancing! Soon after sharing the pictures, her fans and friends were seen reacting immediately. Saif Ali KhanHer sister Saba Ali Khan wrote, “Congratulations and God bless you both on this beautiful journey ahead…. Lots of love angel.” His brother Shivang wrote, “The sweetest memory of that day!” His mother Reena Chopra left a red heart emoji. Fans were seen calling them ‘Best Couple’.
For the roka ceremony, the couple was decked up in white ethnic outfits. Parineeti wore a full sleeve turtle neck suit designed by Manish Malhotra. She kept her hair open and completed the look with heavy earrings, maangtika and rings. The neckline of the suit is decorated with pearls. Raghav wore an achkan designed by Delhi-based designer and his uncle Pawan Sachdev.
On the professional front, will be seen sharing screen space with Parineeti Diljit Dosanjh In ‘Chamkeela’ Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film revolves around two popular Punjabi singers Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila. While Parineeti will play the role of Amarjot, Diljit will be seen as Chamkila.
