Flood-like situation is again being created in Delhi. In view of this, the relief and rescue team is in action mode. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain on Tuesday. Due to this, along with the change in the weather, the temperature will also fall. The people of Delhi, who have been facing the humid heat for the last five-six days, can get relief.

Yamuna has once again crossed the danger mark (205.33 m). The water level of Yamuna was recorded at 206.04 on the old railway bridge on Monday night at 9 pm.

On the other hand, the plain states from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala to Karnataka are suffering from rain. In the hilly states, especially in Himachal and Uttarakhand, the rains have blocked the roads. About 200 meters of the Badrinath National Highway has been washed away at many places near Gauchar Kameda in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Due to this, the movement from the main road has come to a standstill.

Pilgrims and vehicles will have to wait for two to three days. More than 1000 pilgrims are stranded at various places due to the closure of the highway.

Pilgrimage has been stopped by blocking traffic due to landslide debris falling on Yamanotri Highway. Landslides have been happening on the route for the last three days due to heavy rains.

There have been around 35 incidents of cloudburst in Himachal Pradesh since June. There have been cloudbursts 27 times in the last 24 days. There has been 102% excess rainfall so far in July. 158 people have died due to the flood. 606 houses collapsed and 5363 houses were damaged.

Yellow alert today in 17 states including Himachal, Uttarakhand
The Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert till July 27 for heavy rains in Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Kolhapur and Satara districts of Maharashtra. There is also a warning of heavy rain in Konkan Goa and Coastal Karnataka. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rains in 17 states of North East including Uttarakhand, Himachal, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Meghalaya on Tuesday.
