Following photo leaks, Nitesh Tiwari imposes strict no-phone policy on ‘Ramayana’ sets: Report | – Times of India

Recently, photos of Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, and other cast members from the sets of ‘Ramayana‘ leaked online. Following this, director Nitesh Tiwari has now implemented a stringent no-phone policy on the set in response to the leaks.
Reportedly, the initial two days of the Ramayana shoot were tense for the production team due to leaked images revealing the cast’s costumes and characters.Nitesh Tiwari is said to be “very upset” by these leaks, prompting the implementation of a strict no-phone policy on set.

According to a report in India Today, the director has directed additional staff and crew to remain off-set when shooting commences. Only essential actors and technicians necessary for the scene are allowed on set, while access is denied to all others.

On Thursday, April 4th, Arun Govil, portraying Dashrath, was observed conversing with young actors embodying the roles of young Ram, Lakshman, and Bharat. Actress Lara Dutta appeared as Kaikeyi in a purple ensemble, while Sheeba Chadha adorned a maroon lehenga and silver jewelry to portray Surpnakha.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash are yet to begin filming. Reports indicate that Ranbir will undergo extensive voice and diction training for his role. Sources suggest that the director wants Ranbir’s voice to be distinct from his previous characters, and the actor is reportedly enjoying the challenge of trying something new.
