Forex software developer kidnapped, extorted 25 lakhs | Surat News – Times of India

Surat: Surat Cybercrime Police has booked nine people in connection with the kidnapping of Rander resident and forex software developer Jessing Sumesara (47).
The incident happened a month ago when a businessman from Rajkot called Sumesara. Light Aghara to Adajan restaurant for a bargain. At the time of the deal, he was abducted in a car and taken to Kamrej, where Prakash and his accomplices extorted $29,350 (Rs 25 lakh) through online transfers, threatening to kill him.

According to the case, Sumesara has been developing software for the past 12 years and has developed mql.4 and mql.5 software. Two and a half years back Sumesara Prakash alias Pakala came in contact with Langda Aghara. Aghara told him that he needed trading software for investment. Sumesara helped him in business and also made him profit from it. Sumesara and Prakash were not in touch after this deal.
On 28 May 2023, Aghara called Sumesara and told that a person wanted to do software trading. On 29 May, Aghara came to Surat and called Sumesara to an Adajan restaurant, where four other persons were present. Both the parties agreed to work together from 30 May.
Aghara called Sumesara to come near LP Sawhney Circle on May 30 and collect the cash. Sumesara was also asked to bring a check book for bail. When Sumesara went there, he saw blue and black colored cars there. The aghara was also there. The people in the black car asked Sumesara to sit in the car to talk. But when he refused, they forced him into a car and took him to an isolated place near Kamrej intersection.
After reaching there, Aghara and four people came in a blue car. A person tells Sumesara that he owes Rs 1.5 crore to Aghara from the first transaction done by Sumesara. When Sumesara told them that the transaction had already been settled, they thrashed him.
Then another person snatched Sumesara’s mobile and opened an app to check the balance of his customers and asked for the number of his broker. When Sumesara refused they threatened him. He gave the broker’s number. The person sent a message to the broker Ajay Soni To withdraw money from five accounts. After this, a total of $ 29,350 (Rs 25 lakh) was withdrawn.
