Four killed, four injured after SUV falls into container Vadodara News – Times of India

Vadodara: Four people were killed and four others were seriously injured when an SUV met with an accident on the Vadodara-Halol highway. Accident It happened near Jarod village on Wednesday morning when the SUV was going towards Vadodara.
According to the police, the container was parked on the roadside near a hotel on the highway. The SUV driver could not see it in time and crashed into it. The local people reached the spot and rescued the victims. The SUV was completely damaged. With the help of NDRF and police personnel, four persons were rescued from the SUV and admitted to the hospital.
But the other four Raghaji Kalal (65) Roshan Kalal (40), Prakash Gurjar (35) and Rakesh Gurjar (8) died on the spot. All of them were residents of Surat. The family was on its way back to Surat when the accident happened. The highway was blocked for an hour.
Two months ago, 10 people were killed when a container collided with a ‘chakra’ on National Highway 48 outside the city.
