Panaji: Nearly four years after a woman was reported missing, Goa’s Agasim police on Sunday traced her. Karnataka,
Local police inspector Vikram Naik said she left him because of differences with her husband. He had filed a missing complaint in 2019.
Both husband and wife are residents of Karnataka and lived in a rented room in Agasam.
Police said that ‘suddenly the wife went missing’. She then changed her mobile number and her husband continued to contact the police to trace her. Police said that when she could not be traced, the husband left the state but continued to follow her with the police.
Police told that one day the husband called the police and said that his wife was seen in Bijapur area. After this they got a phone number and after keeping it on surveillance, it was traced.
