Vadodara: A 17 year old girl studies in Vadodara Industrial training institute (ITI) was allegedly attacked by a 25-year-old man near his institute in Dashrath village on Saturday. The accused has been identified as Ajay Rathod Chased the girl and then stabbed her hand three times with a knife. Rathod fled from the spot after the minor raised an alarm. “We have arrested the accused who said he knew the girl. On Saturday, he was following her and after a brief altercation, he attacked her with a knife and injured her. Rathod is under medication,” said G Patel, Chhani police inspector. Police said that they both knew each other. The girl said that Rathod wanted to have a relationship with her but she rejected his proposal.
