Gang barges into house with weapons, robs couple in Bengaluru’s KR Puram – Times of India

Bengaluru: A gang of three barged into the house of a former HAL employee and assaulted him. KR Puram and decamped with 180 grams of gold, three mobile phones and Rs 50,000 in cash.
According to the police, Nagraj KV, a retired chief manager of HAL, and his wife Lakshmi Devi SP were at home at the time of the incident. Police said the couple hired a woman named Sonali as a domestic help a month back.
the couple was at home Akshaya NagarJinkethimmanahalli, on April 12 at around 6.30 am when three men barged in.
The gang threatened the couple by showing them weapons. They snatched a chain weighing about 110 grams, gold bangles weighing 70 grams, three mobiles and Rs 50,000 in cash from Lakshmi. The police suspect that Sonali was part of the gang, as she went missing soon after.
