Navi Mumbai: A gang of four allegedly vandalized a restaurant and thrashed its staff in Turbhe area of ​​Navi Mumbai. The police gave this information on Saturday.
The incident took place late on Wednesday night when the accused reached the restaurant and ordered liquor, but refused to pay the bill after consuming the food items, an official said.
He said the accused misbehaved and assaulted the employees and later ransacked the premises.
An offense has been registered under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 452 (trespass), 504 (intentional insult leading to breach of the peace) of the Indian Penal Code and the Maharashtra Police Act, the officer said.
No arrest has been made in this regard so far, he added.
