Ludhiana: Gangster Sukhpreet Singh aka dry Barewal was shot in Haibowal‘S Joginder Nagar Monday afternoon in Ludhiana
Barewal and the accused had gathered at a common friend’s house in Haibowal for settlement of a case. There an altercation took place between them, after which the accused shot Barewal in the head and killed him.
Significantly, even before this, in 2016, Sukh Barewal was attacked when some miscreants barged into his house and shot him. Later in April 2022 also some miscreants kidnapped him, but Barewal jumped from the moving car and managed to escape.
Sukha Barewal was a notorious gangster who had many cases of dacoity, Arms Act, extortion, bid murder etc.
A police official told that Sukha Barewal was shot dead in a house in Joginder Nagar. He had gone there to negotiate with his opponents. Earlier in 2022, Sukha was abducted by some miscreants and it is feared that the same accused shot her dead. However, these aspects are yet to be explored. The police are yet to confirm the number of accused who shot Sukha in the head.
