Google has announced Gemini AI language model which is set to power different apps and services, including Bard, the ChatGPT rival. Google has compared Gemini Ultra, the high-end version of Gemini, with GPT-4, OpenAI’s latest language model. Here’s how the two AI language models compare according to Google: Gemini Ultra outperforms GPT-4 in text processing capabilities, including representation of questions, reasoning, reading comprehension, math, and code generation. In terms of multimedia content processing, Gemini Ultra performs better than GPT-4 in tasks such as image understanding, natural image OCR, document understanding, infographic understanding, mathematical reasoning, and video question answering.
