Gigabyte G5 series launched in India with Intel 12th Gen processors: Price, specifications and more – Times of India

gigabyte On Tuesday (December 27) launched the G5 series gaming laptops in India. The new laptops are powered by Intel 12th Gen processors. The laptops will be offered in three models: Gigabyte G5 KE, Gigabyte G5 ME and Gigabyte G5 GE.

Gigabyte G5 Series laptops price in India starts from Rs.77,887. These will be available both online (Flipkart) and offline retail stores across the country. The Taiwanese company is offering a one-year subscription of Microsoft Office 365 Personal Edition with the laptop.

Gigabyte G5 Series Specifications
The Gigabyte G5 series laptop features a 15.6-inch FHD LCD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The G5 series is powered by the 12th generation Intel i5-12500H CPU with 12 cores, 16 threads and a maximum clock rate of 4.5GHz.
The processor is paired with RTX 30 series GPU along with 16GB of DDR4 RAM. The laptops will be available in three models: the Gigabyte G5 KE with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, the Gigabyte G5 ME with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, and the Gigabyte G5 GE with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050.
Gigabyte has also introduced MUX switch technology in the G5 KE laptop which will allow users to bypass the integrated graphics and connect the display directly to the discrete GPU with a single click.

There is also Windforce cooling technology which keeps the temperature of the laptop under control during marathon gaming sessions. The technology includes 59-blade dual fans, 5 heat pipes and 4 exhaust vents, which allow the laptop to dissipate heat.
The laptops weigh less than 1.9 kg and come with Thunderbolt 4 ports that provide transmission speeds of up to 40Gbps.
Gigabyte’s new thin-and-light offering is designed to serve as the perfect on-the-go device and is capable of handling both gaming and productivity workloads, the company said.
