Hubli: Some miscreants killed a member of Gangiwal Gram Panchayat by slitting his throat late on Monday night near Raynal village.
The deceased is 31-year-old Deepak Patdari, a resident of Raynal. Deepak, who was returning home on a bike, was allegedly attacked by a bike-riding gang of more than six armed men. Deepak was brutally attacked, who succumbed to his injuries at the KIMS Hospital here.
DCP (Law and Order) Sahil Bagla told TOI that family disputes and political rivalry might have been the reason for the attack. “But we will find out the exact reason. We have arrested three people and search is on for the other accused.”
