Gram Panchayat Secretary (Talati cum Minister) exam is going to be held in Gujarat on Sunday. Around 8.64 lakh candidates from across the state are expected to appear in the exam. 2698 examination centers have been set up for the examination.

Hasmukh Patel, chairman of the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Committee, told reporters that complete preparations have been made for the exam.

He told that a strict vigil would be kept on those who violate the rules of the exam. Strict action will be taken against such people. The new law has stricter provisions for misconduct. According to which there is a provision of Rs 1 lakh fine and 3 years imprisonment.

Patel further informed that the exam will be held on Sunday from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm. For which more than 8 lakh candidates from across the state are likely to appear for the exam. At the same time, 4500 additional buses will also be run by Gujarat ST.
