The allure of foreign countries, especially America, has driven some people to fulfill their dreams at any cost, even risking their lives.

Recent events have highlighted the dangers facing those who seek to migrate to America through unconventional means. One such case involves a Gujarati family who endured harassment and torture after being promised assistance in their journey to the US.

As disturbing footage of the youth’s misbehavior has surfaced, police have launched an investigation, which suspects that the video may have originated from either Iran or Hyderabad.

The couple from Ahmedabad embarked on a journey that took them to several countries. Reports have emerged in the local media about his abduction in Hyderabad and subsequent transport to Tehran or Azerbaijan.

A viral video with ransom demands has brought their plight to public attention. The victims, identified as Pankaj Patel and his wife Nisha, residents of Krishnanagar in Ahmedabad, had to face unimaginable horrors in their search for a better life.

After being moved from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad, the couple’s aspirations of reaching America are shattered when they fall into a treacherous trap.

Along with five other couples, they were taken to Iran, where they were held hostage and extorted for money. The perpetrators captured the painful ordeal on video and sent it to the families, adding further distress to an already dire situation.

After the video went viral, the crime branch has started investigating the matter.

The couple surrenders their dream of US immigration to a man named Abhay Rawal, who vanishes with the substantial amount paid by him. Pankaj Patel allegedly gave Rs 1.15 crore to the agent to assist him in his travel. The family believes they have been duped and have been left in critical condition.

The case of Dingucha’s family shows the desperation and willingness of families to risk everything for the chance to move to America. Last year, tragedy struck when a family from Gandhinagar died on their way to the United States.

Initially with the promise of an easy immigration, the family was moved to Dubai. Their journey was supposed to continue illegally via Toronto and Winnipeg, but fate took a tragic turn. A snowstorm in Winnipeg killed four family members, including two children.

The stories of these families are a reminder of how far some people are willing to go to pursue their dream of immigrating to America. However, they also highlight the dangers and risks associated with seeking illegal means of immigration, underscoring the importance of legal and safe routes to achieve these aspirations.
