Harman Baweja who made his Bollywood debut in 2008 opposite Love Story 2050 Priyanka Chopra He was trolled for his resemblance to Hrithik Roshan. While such similarities work wonders for some, Harman has faced a lot of trolling for the same. The actor was nowhere to be seen after his debut film but now he is back! He has made a strong comeback with Hansal Mehta’s web series Scoop. Now in a new video, the actor has hit out at the haters.
Now he has been featured in a Netflix video giving a vehement reply to all his critics, but with a pinch of humour. She has called her haters ‘Critic Roshan’, reminding her fans how she used to be compared with Hrithik Roshan for her looks but it worked against her. In the new video shared by Netflix India on Instagram, the actor can be heard saying, “Oh my God! Please! Let me silence my Hrithik. I mean the critics. I thought I knew what the future would hold but I was wrong. But, I was not alone. He further added, “They were also wrong. I am useless, not useless.’ Showcasing another article titled ‘The future doesn’t look bright for him’, he says, “You know who I call Critic Roshan to my haters. I am looking forward to start my second innings in acting. No, No, no, no. I’m not talking about a Victory sequel. I’m talking about the scoop. The scoop on Netflix! Woohoo woohoo!”
Sharing the video, Netflix wrote, ‘Harman lives in every mind because he lives in our hearts for free. @hansalmehta’s #Scoop is now streaming exclusively on Netflix!” One of the social media users wrote, “Way to go Harman….milo na milo…main milne dunga…kaho na kaho….” Another said, “I watched the whole series and now I realize what an unexpectedly FAB performance she is.
Everyone who watched the show loved Harman’s performance and appreciated him in the comment section. His co-star Karishma Tanna reacted to the video with a heart emoji. One person jokingly wrote, “They have a bright future ahead of 2050.” “Soo good Hrithik! Sorry Harman,” wrote another.
The scoop stars Harman JCP in the role of Harshvardhan Shroff. It also stars Karishma Tanna, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Harman Baweja, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Deven Bhojani. The show is based on the real-life story of Jigna Vora who was accused of murdering Mid-day reporter Jyotirmoy Dey in June 2011.
