Haryana’s positivity rate is third in the country: recorded at 19.28%; More than 10 percent in 12 districts, Center gave warning

The situation is now getting worse due to corona infection in Haryana. The figures released by the central government are even more frightening. The center has given the positivity rate of Haryana at number three in the country. Haryana has recorded 19.28% Covid positivity rate after Delhi and Kerala. The most frightening thing is that 12 of the 22 districts in the state have recorded a positivity rate of more than 10 per cent.

5 to 10 percent have been recorded in 6. WHO says that positivity rate above 5% is dangerous. At the same time, 937 new infected patients have been found in the last 24 hours.

Positivity rate higher than the national average
Haryana has reported an increase of 910 weekly cases in the week ending April 20 from 445 in the week ending April 13. The state recorded a positivity rate of 19.28% for the week ending April 19, which is higher than the national average. The average number of cases in Haryana has increased from 21 between March 17-23 to 910 from April 14-20.

These district hot spots in statistics
According to the data released by the Center, there are 5 districts which are on the verge of becoming hot spots. Among these, the districts with the highest Covid positivity rate are Yamunanagar (56.50%), Rewari (29.10%), Gurugram (28.40%), Faridabad (25.80%), Sonipat (24.10%). The Center has advised the state to prepare a special action plan for these districts.

Center gave warning
Center has warned Haryana not to be lax in Corona management. Also said that Kovid is not over yet. In a letter written by the Center, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that the positivity rate is higher than normal in the state. Bhushan called for increasing surveillance in all districts, monitoring patients with influenza illness, ensuring hospital preparedness and identifying infection hotspots.

Focus on booster dose
The Center has also advised maintaining a high level of testing besides sending more samples for genome testing and ensuring precautionary doses to eligible people. Bhushan has said that we must be vigilant against laxity at any level, which may undo the gains made so far in pandemic management.
