Hemant Soren ‘missing’: All ruling alliance MLAs in Jharkhand asked to stay in Ranchi for crucial meet | Ranchi News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: All the legislators of the ruling alliance in Jharkhand have been instructed to stay in the state capital, Ranchi. They are required to attend a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the current political situation in the state.
The meeting, which is scheduled to take place at the CM House, aims to strategize regarding the ongoing political scenario and the Enforcement Directorate’s plan to question chief minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday. In response to an email from the ED, Soren has agreed to provide his statement on January 31 at 1 pm at his residence.

According to JMM general secretary and spokesperson Vinod Kumar Pandey, all MLAs of the ruling alliance have been requested to remain in Ranchi due to the current political situation.

The ruling alliance consists of the JMM, Congress, and RJD.

Pandey said that they will convene the meet on Tuesday to discuss the future course of action. When asked if the CM has returned to Ranchi, he expressed uncertainty.
In light of the ED team’s visit to Soren’s residence in Delhi, the legislators of the ruling party had stayed at the chief minister’s residence until late night on Monday.
