Patna: After enjoying the Holi splash with a variety of colours, the revellers want to get back to their picture perfect look for which most of them are making a beeline to salons and parlours, while some are trusting traditional home-made recipes for detoxifying their skin.
Even high-end salons in the city have come up with various offers wooing customers with package like ‘Rang Churwao’ in which they are giving a facial and spa at discounted rate.Alim, who owns a salon on Frazer Road, said, “We have various post-Holi offer, including one-on-one free or discounts for hair spa and face D-tan. We had few customers On Wednesday, but we expect more rush on Thursday.”
Vibha Kumari, who works in a salon in Raja Bazar, said, “Apart from cleaning of skin and scalp, people also get relaxed with spa and facial post-Holi.”
Mahima, who is a banker, does not think about the after effects of the colours. “My daughter and I love pouring colours but when the day is over we start looking for ways to get rid of them,” she said, adding that they prefer home-made things to remove the colour because it is not only safe but also cheaper.
