Honey Singh reacts to kidnapping allegations
Honey Singh has issued a statement on his Instagram handle mentioning that his team will file a defamation case.
Rapper Honey Singh was recently in the news after he was accused of kidnapping and assaulting an event manager. Now, he has finally responded to the allegations, calling them “false and baseless”. Mumbai’s BKC police station had received a complaint against Honey Singh and others from a person named Vivek Raman.
He wrote on his Instagram account, “The complaints and allegations are false and baseless. There is no relation or agreement between my company or the complainant which media is showing since morning. I got connected for the Mumbai show through a company named Tribevibe which is a reputed company and a subsidiary of Bookmyshow. I did my performance for the time allowed (sic). All other such allegations are false and an attempt to malign my image. My legal team is already working to file a defamation case against such miscreants.”

Vivek Raman, owner of an event company, lodged a complaint against Singh and others for kidnapping, enslavement and assault. According to his complaint, a dispute arose after the program was cancelled. According to reports, the incident took place after the complainant had organized a music festival titled Yo Yo Honey Singh 3.0 by Festivina at MMRDA Grounds on April 15.
As per the complaint, the owner of the event visited the venue on the day of the event and argued over non-payment. Eventually, Raman decides to cancel the event. This incident came to light on the day when it was reported that Honey Singh has parted ways with his actress-model girlfriend Tina Thadani. Both have also unfollowed each other on social media and have also deleted pictures of each other. Both have kept silence about the reason for their breakup.
