Honeytrapped Man Says ‘wife’ Extorted ₹50l | Nagpur News – Times of India

Nagpur: A woman and her associates, including kin and a doctor, have been booked for ‘honeytrapping’ many men and extorting hefty amounts.
A 49-year-old transporter complained that he had been forced to pay the gang ₹50 lakh. The woman had befriended him on a social media platform, posing as a widow. The woman lured the man to accompany her to Mansar and clicked intimate photographs with him during the trip.She then started using the photographs to threaten him.
The woman, her kin and the doctor threatened to implicate the transporter in a rape case. The transporter was forced to marry her. Later, he learnt that there were similar complaints of extortion against the woman at different police stations. The transporter then lodged a complaint at Gittikhadan police station. tnn
