How did the Bhadri Estate chief make an entry? Varanasi News – Times of India

Varanasi: VVSS chief Jitendra Singh Wiesen came into limelight when the hearing of case no. 18/2022 (Old Case No. 693/2021) Rakhi Singh and others vs. State of UP and others started. When the court-ordered survey of the Gyanvapi mosque took place, differences arose between Visen and the other petitioners (Jains) and the two parted ways. On 3 June, Visen announced to stop pleading Gyanvapi cases, while his lawyer Shivam Gaur announced his withdrawal from VVSS cases citing lack of communication with the client and non-payment of fees. On 6 June, Rakhi Singh wrote an open letter to the President seeking permission for euthanasia, claiming harassment of Visen by the lawyers of the other four women plaintiffs. After these developments, Wiesen made this claim on 9 June Uday Pratap Singh had assured him of patronage to the cases related to Gyanvapi fought by the VVSS.
