How this Microsoft Edge feature can help users follow content creators online – Times of India

Microsoft constantly updating it corner A browser with new tools and features to compete with other competitors — like Google Chrome. In an effort to make Edge the most used browser, the software giant recently added some gaming features to the browser. These features are now available to users who are on the stable version of Edge browser. According to XDA Developers, Microsoft has now announced some improvements collection feature in its edge browser. These features are specifically designed for those using desktop devices. These new features include a new “inspiration feed” and enable users to follow content creators across the web.
Availability of these new features
The report mentions that these new features are now being rolled out and users will be able to find them when they are on the latest version of Edge. However, if you have already created collections, it may take some time for new features to appear. Existing user-created collections need to be upgraded to support the new features.
The following content creators through Edge’s archive feature
The report states that Microsoft is gradually rolling out the feature which could be one of the “more interesting features”. The Edge browser will now allow users to follow content creators as they visit their page(s) on the Internet to keep them updated about new content. Although it’s something that can be done on any browser, Edge’s Collections feature brings all the creators you follow under one roof.
Initially, this feature will be supported on a handful of websites and more of them are expected to be added eventually. Microsoft has confirmed that Edge’s collection feature will support YouTube. TIC Toc And Billy Billy First and the company plans to expand its services to other websites as well. This feature was first discovered in January and Microsoft is finally making it available.

How does this work
Users can click the Archive button on the Edge toolbar to find the latest content from creators they follow, no matter what website they’re on, once they start following someone. This feature will help the users to stay updated with the latest content without the need to visit each individual website.
What’s New Inspiration Feed on Edge Browser
Inspiration Feed is another new feature that Microsoft has added to the Collections tab of the Edge browser. Apart from saving the selected content, the feature will also make recommendations based on what users have already added. For example, if users decide to visit a collection of tourist places in a city, Edge will now recommend other places nearby.
A new button to add images to the collection directly from the web
Another new feature has been added to Edge’s Collections tab that will allow users to quickly add images they find on the web to a list. Users can now hover over an image where they will now find a button to add that image to the collection while browsing the web.

Apart from these, Microsoft is also including Bing Visual Search in the Edge browser. Users can hover their mouse cursor over an image and click the Bing visual search option to view more information about the picture. For example, users can search the web to buy a pair of shoes they found online using Bing Visual Search.
