HP expands gaming portfolio with new Omen, Victus laptops – Times of India

Himachal Pradesh has announced its latest line-up of Omen and Victus gaming laptops for gamers in India. The new range includes the Omen Transcend 16, Omen 16 and Victus 16 laptops. The company’s latest portfolio is equipped with advanced omen storm Cooling feature, which claims to ensure rapid cooling even during top-notch gameplay and multi-application workloads. These new laptops will also come with new enhancements to the Omen Gaming Hub. this also includes performance mode and Network Booster which offers a variety of personalization features. Along with the gaming laptop, HP is also introducing the new HyperX 27-inch QHD gaming monitor.

HP’s latest gaming portfolio: Price and availability
The Omen Transcend 16 laptop will be available at a starting price of Rs 1,59,999, while
Omen 16 laptop price will start from Rs 1,04,999. Meanwhile, the Victus 16 laptop will be available at a starting price of Rs 59,999. On the other hand, the HyperX 27-inch QHD Display Monitor will be available at a starting price of Rs 30,990 and the HyperX Cloud II Core Wireless Gaming Headset is priced at Rs 9,190.
Omen Gaming Hub: New Improvements
All the products announced by HP will come with the improved OMEN Gaming Hub features. The company claims that the processor core affinity optimization within the Omen Optimizer will help in a 10% improvement in FPS.
The ECO mode also promises up to 20% longer battery life and up to 7dB reduction in fan noise across the Omen and Victus laptops for quieter gaming sessions. Along with other features like Performance Mode, Network Booster and System Vitals, the Omen Gaming Hub also claims to enable gaming devices to work better together.
HP Omen Transcend 16: Key features and specifications
HP claims that the Omen Transcend 16 laptop is its thinnest and lightest gaming PC which is powered by . nvidia geforce RTX 4070 series graphics and up to 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor. The 19.9mm laptop comes with a magnesium frame and weighs 2.1kg. The Omen Transcend 16 sports a display that supports HDR 1000 and 16:10 aspect ratio. The notebook also packs a 97Whr battery unit and supports Omen Tempest cooling technology for heat management.
HP Omen 16: Key Specifications and Features
The Omen 16 will feature a QHD display that will support 240Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. The laptop will be powered by the 13th generation Intel Core i7 mobile processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU supported by 32GB of RAM. The notebook will also feature a redesigned Airflow system and an FHD camera with a manual shutter door.

The laptop will be powered by up to 13th generation Intel Core i7 mobile processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 laptop GPU. For calling, the Victus 16 will feature Omen Tempest cooling as well as an IR thermopile sensor. The notebook will be available in two color options – Mica Silver and Performance Blue along with a 1-zone RGB keyboard option.
HyperX 27-inch QHD gaming monitor: Key features and specifications
This monitor has a customizable setup that will allow gamers to adjust the tilt and height. It also comes with an ergonomically mounted arm to better optimize the desk space. For gameplay, the monitor supports 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. The panel also offers QHD 1440p and VESA Display HDR 400.
