Rajkot: A man has filed a complaint against his father-in-law, alleging that he kidnapped his wife as the couple had eloped against her will a fortnight ago.
complainant seju’s birthdaya resident of Navagam in the city and a native of Tharad in Banaskantha, told the police that he and the accused Rakshak Solankidaughter of love of a motherHad eloped and had a registered marriage.
Solanki lives in Betaliya village of Tharad taluka.
The couple was detained by the Tharad police five days after the wedding, but was released after their statement was recorded.
Seju said that around midnight of January 29, Solanki and three other persons came to his house and thrashed both of them. After this, they forcefully took Mamta with them.
