Hyderabad Police registers case against Tollywood actor for ‘hitting and kicking’ DCP (Traffic) car

The Jubilee Hills police have booked Tollywood actress Dimple JP aka Dimple Hayathi under various provisions of the IPC for allegedly “hitting and kicking” the car of Hyderabad’s Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic 1) Rahul Hegde.

Jubilee Hills Police booked the actor under 41 (A) Cr. notice under. PC, dated May 22, booked him on May 17 under IPC 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), 341 (wrongful restraint) and 279 (driving or riding in public manner) I went.

On Tuesday Ms Dimple was seen leaving the police station with her male friend, reportedly in connection with the case , Ms Dimple and Mr Hegde live in the same apartment complex in HUDA Enclave in Journalist Colony. At the same time, there was a dispute between two people regarding the parking of four wheelers.

According to Mr Hegde, who spoke to media persons, the actor was creating trouble, stopped his car several times and damaged the right side of his car. He said that he once requested her to cooperate, because as head of the traffic division she would need to go in and out frequently on emergency calls. He said the complaint was lodged by his driver and more details would emerge after investigation.

Meanwhile, Ms Dimple, who took to Twitter, wrote, “Abuse of power does not hide mistakes.”

His lawyer, who spoke to media persons, said that the IPS officer has made false allegations through his driver and registered a case. “Why are there public property, such as traffic cones and concrete barricades, inside private apartment complexes?” he asked and added that the matter would be dealt with legally.
