Some fans remembered that the picture was from his film Masoom, directed by Shekhar Kapur. It revolves around the story of the marriage of DK (Naseeruddin Shah) and Indu (Shabana Azmi), which faces difficulties when the latter learns that DK has an illegitimate child.
Urmila Matondkar is currently gearing up for her web series Tiwari directed by Saurabh Verma. The actress shared the first look of this series some time ago. The series revolves around Kalki Tiwari (Urmila), who is out of jail after 14 years for a crime she did not commit. Now, Kalki is determined to find the person who framed her for the crime. Tiwari also stars JD Chakraborty, Rajesh Sharma, Virendra Saxena and others.
Urmila last did a cameo role in the film Smile Please, directed by Vikram Phadnis. She was seen in the film’s anthem song along with several other Bollywood celebrities. They included Mahesh Manjrekar, Bhushan Pradhan, Chinmay Mandlekar, Chinmayi Sumeet and many others.
