Addressing the function organized here as the chief guest on the occasion of completion of 125 years of Shree Delhi Gujarati Samaj, Shah also said that due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s fame is spreading across the world.

In his speech in Gujarati, he said that these four Gujaratis have made great achievements and are the pride of the entire nation.
Shah said that the Gujarati community is present all over the country and the world, and has always blended well while serving any society.
He said that apart from keeping the Gujaratis living in Delhi connected with their culture and civilization, this organization has worked to inspire them to serve the country and the society.
The Home Minister congratulated all the people associated with this organization on the completion of 125 years.
He said that the Gujarati community has gained acceptance for itself and despite living in Delhi, the Gujarati community has maintained the essence of Gujarat, promoted it and preserved and carried forward its culture.
He said that people of every community live in Delhi and the Gujarati community is also living in the city in a systematic manner.
Referring to the nine-year tenure of Prime Minister Modi, Shah said that the country has achieved many achievements during this period.
He said that when Modi became the Prime Minister in 2014, India’s economy was ranked 11th in the world and today after nine years, the Indian economy is the 5th largest economy in the world. The Home Minister said that now many agencies including the IMF see India’s economy as a bright spot.
He said that by conducting surgical and air strikes under the decisive leadership of Modi, India gave a message to the world that no one can tamper with India’s borders.
Shah said that in a vast country like India, where 130 crore people live, the Covid vaccination drive was completed smoothly.
He said that under the leadership of PM Modi, India has become the world’s largest mobile producer, India ranks third in startups and fourth in renewable energy generation.
He said that the Prime Minister worked to abrogate Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir without any news of violence, made a policy of zero tolerance against terrorism, which resulted in not a single major terrorist incident in nine years.
Shah said Modi has made several efforts to strengthen the country’s internal security and security of borders.
He said, “Modi belongs to everyone and everyone belongs to him and it is a matter of pride for everyone.”
