New Delhi: AnjuMarried Indian woman and mother of two who traveled legally Pakistan via Wagah-Attari border to meet him”facebook friends”, on Tuesday he converted to Islam and married her.

34 year old Anju who is now Fatimamarried his 29 year old pakistani friend Nasrallah in a local court. Anju told the court that she had come to Pakistan voluntarily and was very happy. Nasrullah is a science graduate from a university in Sheringal and is the youngest of five brothers. Both became friends on Facebook in 2019.
Anju, who has a 15-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son, left her home on the pretext of going to Jaipur.

“The marriage of Nasrullah and Anju took place today and a proper nikah was performed after she converted to Islam,” Muhammad Wahab, a senior official at Moharrar city police station in Upper Dir district, told news agency PTI.
Anju, who was born in Uttar Pradesh’s Kailor village and lives in Rajasthan’s Alwar district, shared a short video ahead of her wedding in which she says she “feels safe” in Pakistan, news agency PTI quoted Geo News as saying.
“I want to convey this message to everyone that I have come here legally and with a plan as I have been here for less than two days and I am safe here,” she said in the video.
“I request all media persons not to disturb my relatives and children,” she added.
Earlier on Monday, both had gone out for a walk amidst tight security. Police officials said they visited the Lawari tunnel connecting Dir Upper district with Chitral district.
In pictures from the picturesque sightseeing, Anju and Nasrulla were seen sitting in a lush green garden and holding hands.
Meanwhile, the police visit Anju’s husband Arvind’s village in India to conduct a “preliminary investigation”.
Arvind and Anju were married in 2007 in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.
