India and China held intense discussions during the military-level talks to resolve the remaining issues related to Eastern Ladakh. During this, both sides have agreed to work together on important issues. In a statement issued by China’s Defense Ministry on Tuesday, it has been said that talks were held between top military officials of India and China recently. During this, it has been agreed to expedite the resolution of issues related to the long-standing deadlock in eastern Ladakh. Also asked to maintain peace on the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

The meeting was also held on Sunday

India and China held the 18th round of Corps Commander level talks on Sunday to resolve the remaining disputed issues of eastern Ladakh. The meeting took place at the Chushul-Moldo border post on the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. The meeting comes ahead of the proposed visit of Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu to India to attend an important Defense Ministerial level meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). This meeting is being held under the chairmanship of India.

Both sides are clear on their respective views

The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has issued a statement. He said that there was a frank exchange of views on relevant issues between the two sides. Both sides have agreed to maintain close contact and communication through military and diplomatic channels and work for a mutually acceptable solution to the outstanding issues.

Also agreed to maintain security and stability

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning told the media in Beijing on Monday that the two sides also agreed to maintain security and stability on the ground in the western sector. Both sides held frank and in-depth discussions on the resolution of relevant issues related to the LAC in the western sector so as to maintain peace and stability in the border areas, thereby facilitating progress in bilateral relations.
