The actress said that some users reacted positively to her look, while others responded with “disgusting comments”.

Radhakrishna fame Shivya Pathania was at the receiving end of online trolling for posting pictures in a red bikini from her Maldives vacation. The actress shared pictures on Instagram, posing in front of a wide blue sea. She glammed up with a bold red lip tint and silver hoop earrings, leaving her curly hair open. However, some people online criticized and trolled the actress for her outfit. Some criticized Shivaya for disrespecting their culture, while others asked her not to post such pictures on social media. Now, the actress has responded to the negativity by asking, “Isn’t it normal to wear a bikini on the beach?”

Speaking to ETimes, Shivya Pathania said that the audience connects with her because of the characters she plays on screen, but it may not be a true reflection of her personality in real life. “Also, I am a girl with a unique dress style and have loved to dress up since a young age,” she added.

The actress said that she got mixed views after uploading the photos in bikini. Some responded positively to her look, while others “came off with a flood of hateful comments”. Many people objected to Shivya Pathania’s pictures, stating that her choice of dress did not match the mythological characters she plays on screen. Ek Rishta Shaandari Ka and the web show Shoorveer.” Shivya is best known for her role in Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush.

Shivaya had responded to the criticism in an Instagram post, highlighting the tendency of women to bully what they wear. He said that dress should not be the criteria to judge the character of a woman.

“Since childhood, I have seen women being shamed and bullied for their choice of clothes for the same, and from a very young age, I have been breaking barriers, fighting stereotypes, and knowing that And to say that the choice of clothes and I will never judge a woman’s character based on her aura, substance and values.”
