Heavy rains lashed several parts of western Hyderabad in the evening, bringing respite from the scorching heat on Wednesday, bringing down the temperature across the city.
The sky turned cloudy and the weather turned pleasant across the city in the evening, though rain was confined to only a few areas, such as Gachibowli, Kukatpally and others.
Though the rain lasted less than half an hour, the roads turned into a deluge, making it difficult for passers-by to navigate.
The Meteorological Department has predicted partly cloudy sky with light to moderate rain or thundershower in the coming 24 hours.
